The
second of our to be regular charity shop hauls and I found some real
treat while on a weekend trip to the seaside. I popped into a little
Demelza shop in kent and founds some real treats to add a big splash
of colour to my summer wardrobe.
Green
maxi Skirt
How
fantastic is this skirt, the bright brilliant green doesn’t show up
as vibrantly in the photos as it is in real life but it really is so
so bright. The high waist and lot of fabric gives it a beautiful
swish of movement, judging by the labels and fabric it's probably
1960s or 70s vintage. A total bargain at £6, I am going to be
swishing about in this all summer and in autumn/winter it will
perfect with thick tights and my favourite winter boots.
Blue
woven belt
I
have already worn this so many times since finding it in the “Belt
bin” in Demelza for £2, such a unique find. The bright blue
turquoise belt is woven cord that ties in a knot at the front,
complexly interweaving the cords and then forming the belt. It fits
perfectly as a waist belt and one that goes perfectly with the new
skirt (finding them both in one shop!!) and so many of my other
vintage and high street finds, its going to become a accessory
staple. It can even be spied in last weeks OOTD.
The
charity shop
Both
of these fabulous charity shop finds came from a Demelza charity
shop on a trip to the seaside last weekend. Demelza do amazing work
to support families going though the worst and hardest times of their
lives, their child's sickness and eventual passing. I'm sure this is
something we can all sympathize with and want to help, by supporting
Demelza you can help and make a difference.
They
really do great work that is worth supporting in anyway you can.
